Modern tapesteries

Commissioned by the New Carlsberg Foundation of the Mobilier national.

While the 18m² tapestry based on Tal R’s weaving cartoon is already being woven in the Beauvais / Paris factory, the Mobilier national has turned to our workshop, through the Cité internationale de la Tapisserie et de l’art tissé d’Aubusson, to produce three inter-window tapestries based on the weaving cartoons of the same artist. This historic commission is part of a tradition for the Mobilier National of commissions to private workshops in Aubusson/Felletin.
